1. Introduction

Parchis Maroc (“the Android App”) is a mobile board game developed by Adil H. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide a functional multiplayer experience and support the app via advertising, we collect the following:

  • Anonymous Authentication ID (UID): When you use the online multiplayer feature, the App signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication. This generates a temporary anonymous UID. No name, email, or phone number is required.
  • Game Room Data: Temporary data including room codes, player color assignments, and game states (dice rolls, pawn positions) are stored in Firebase Realtime Database for the duration of the session.
  • Technical Identifiers: To serve advertisements, this App uses third-party SDKs that collect your Google Advertising ID, IP address, and device technical information (model, OS version).

3. How We Use the Data

The data collected is used to:

  • Enable online multiplayer gameplay and maintain game sessions.
  • Automatically clean up inactive game rooms (deleted after 4 hours of inactivity).
  • Provide Advertisements: We use identifiers to show relevant ads to users and to measure the performance of advertising campaigns.

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses services provided by Google LLC that may collect data used to identify you.

  • Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements. AdMob uses the Advertising ID to show personalized ads and for frequency capping/reporting.
  • Firebase Authentication & Realtime Database: Used for anonymous login and syncing game data between players.
  • Google Play Services: Used for basic app functionality.

5. Data Retention

  • Anonymous UIDs and game data are temporary and automatically deleted after 4 hours of inactivity.
  • Advertising identifiers are managed by Google according to their retention policies. You can reset your Advertising ID in your Android device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Parchis Maroc is a family board game suitable for all ages. It contains no real-money gambling. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. While the app is safe for families, the advertisements shown are served by Google AdMob, which may collect identifiers as described in Section 4. Parents can manage ad personalization in the device’s Google settings.

7. Security

All game data is transmitted and stored using Firebase’s secure infrastructure. Access to game rooms is restricted by security rules so that only authenticated participants in a room can read or modify that room’s data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
